Home in Michigan, I am going through some old things and came across my 6th grade CCD Prayer for the Class:

Lord,

Please help people that are free to make the right decisions, and help the people that aren’t free to get their freedom. You created us all equal, so give us all the chance to live equally.

Amen

i hope against hope that someday i will hear this among the prayers of the people at mass.
